Workshop Details
When: Capturing Your Love: Couple's Photography Workshop is scheduled for Sunday Feb. 18th 2024 from 3pm to 6pm.
Where: WDO Photography Studios 7120 Harrison Ave. Swissvale, PA 15218 (space is limited)
Instructor: I'm pro portrait photographer Don Orkoskey. I've been working as a professional photographer for more than 20 years. Additionally, I've taught photography classes in Pittsburgh since 2007.
Class Structure: Please arrive before 3pm, the event is BYOB and light snacks will be provided. At 3 we'll begin with a talk about the basics of photography, lighting, exposure, and posing. Couple's will then create photos of each other and themselves as a couple in the studio. I'll be there to assist each couple with posing and lighting. Plus we'll learn how to use the timer function to create great couple's selfies.
Class Take-home: Each couple will take home a collection of their favorite photos as 5x7 prints as well as digital copies of all of their photos. Plus they'll have the knowledge and skills they've learned which will be useful when photographing each other in the future. You can't beat this unique gift!
BYOB: This is a BYOB event. As such we insist that anyone bringing alcohol be over 21.
Inclusivity: This event is open to all couples and is fully welcoming of LGBTQ individuals. Love is love and I welcome everyone who understands this to all of my classes and events.
