Group Photography Classes

Group photography classes are an excellent way to master new skills, learn from professional experts, and meet wonderful people just like yourself with a passion for photography. Photography is a fascinating subject. However it can be a struggle to learn on your own. A group class gives you the benefit of expert instruction and peer support.

Join a photography class lead by me, professional photographer Don Orkoskey. I'm the owner of WDO Photography. After taking one of these classes you will feel more confident, more creative, and will love how much more enjoyment you'll get out of your photography.

Group Photography Classes for Kids and Teens

Your child is growing up in an exciting time. Sign them up for a photography class for kids or teens. These classes show them the practical application of the STEM curriculum they're learning in school. Additionally these classes give them a creative outlet. I like to call it STEAM. Science, Tech, Engineering, Art, and Math.

The skills they will build in their photography class will help them throughout the rest of their lives. They will grow in areas include the following:

  • Attention
  • Creativity
  • Empathy
  • Self awareness
  • Critical thinking
  • Analytical thinking
  • Scientific knowledge
  • Applied mathematics
  • And much more

If your child already has an interest in photography help them explore their passion. Give them the opportunity to grow and learn about themselves, their world, and so much more.

Working With Kids

I have my PA clearances to work with children and has taught kids at a variety of settings including through the Children's Museum of Pittsburgh, the Andy Warhol Museum, the Homeless Children's Education Fund, The Westmoreland Museum of American Art, and more. My teen and kids classes are engaging, interactive, and fun. We learn a lot by harnessing our innate creativity. We practice problem solving, and focus on creating photos we envision through focusing on the solution. My process is grounded in the most up-to-date educational methodologies to maximize learning in ways that are positive and joyous.
