DOWNTOWN PITTSBURGH
Downtown Pittsburgh is an incredible place to host your event. From major conventions at the David L Lawrence Convention Center and our incredible hotels with large ballroom and conference rooms all centrally location within our walkable and exciting downtown.

Not every event is big enough to fill our incredible Convention Center. So, in addition to downtown Pittsburgh consider the following convention locations around Pittsburgh:
EAST LIBERTY & OAKLAND
If you're looking to host a smaller convention space beyond downtown try East Liberty or Oakland. These are two of my favorite neighborhoods. East Liberty is a rapidly changing neighborhood and my friends at East Liberty Development are a great resource.
Oakland is the home to Pittsburgh's many universities and hospitals. It's a prime location. Talk with the great folks at OBID. Outside of these areas there are a lot of other groups that can help you find a location and vendors. Want to know more? Contact me to ask!

Convention Photography Process
The event photography process starts with understanding your needs. First, we have a conversation. You tell me about your event, your goals, and the emotional impact you're looking for people to take away from your event.
I'll ask you a series of questions that will help my team and I to capture exactly what you need. These will include questions about your brand and the look and feel of the event.
If needed, we'll then work with you on a shot list of must-have photos. Additionally, as the event approaches we'll ask for a schedule, (again, if needed), and a list of VIPs that you need to have photos of.
Ultimately, the more prepared we are before your event, the more successful we'll be when it comes to photographing your event.
