Atlanta Photographers

Are you an Atlanta photographer? If so and you're interested in meeting other photographers then, keep reading. Additionally, if you're interested in becoming an photographer in Atlanta, in collaborating, talking about the industry, or just want to hang out then come to our meetup.

Atlanta Pro Photography

This group is open to all photographers in Atlanta not just commercial photographers. While I'm a commercial, headshot and event photographer, I love wildlife photography as well. Additionally, I teach photography classes. So, no matter what type of photographer you are, if you're in Atlanta, you're welcome to join us.
The more local Atlanta photographers meet the better the local photography industry will be. For over 25 years I worked in Pittsburgh. During that time I made a big effort to get photographers together. The results speak for themselves. Therefore, I know that photographers are better when we're in community.

You're Not Alone

In fact, trying to go it alone can break you. So, if you're looking to grow, want to collaborate, or just want to know that you're not alone, then join a lot of other great local photographers in Atlanta.

After all, only when we're together, can we really support each other. Ultimately, we're all here to thrive. Working together we will shape the future of our industry.

Atlanta Photography Events

I started attending events for commercial photographers years ago. Now I'm leading events for Atlanta photographers. I host monthly meetups. Additionally, I'm interested in attending other photographers' meetups here in Atlanta. Plus, I'm interested in collaborating with content creators on Youtube.

Why We Meetup

As photographers in Atlanta we gain valuable insight into the industry by meeting  up. Additionally, we offer each other tips, advice, and support. Being able to meet other Atlanta photographers with shared interest or specialty is very helpful. In the past it has lead to partnerships, mentorships, and more.

Where We Meetup

Atlanta photography meetups happen in a variety of different locations. My monthly photography meetups are hosted at coffee shop or bakeries. We also meet for shoots, photo walks, and other fun activities. For example, I lead a monthly nature photography meetup. That isn't strictly for working photographers though. Hobbyists can also join the nature meetup.

When We Meetup

My goal in hosting Atlanta photographer's meetups is to get photographers together at least once a month. I personally lead a monthly nature photography meetup. Plus, I'm hosting monthly coffee meetups for photographers in Atlanta. Any photographer in Atlanta is welcome to get folks together. Plus, I'm happy to promote those meetups to my network. After all, we're all in this together.
Additionally, there's no dues, no restrictions or policing of who shows up (unless you're very rude). There also no other requirements. In fact, if you've never shot anything for money and are just interested in photography, you are still welcome.

Atlanta Videographers

Atlanta videography pros are also welcome. If you use a camera to make a living then join us. Still and motion photographers are both invited. If you're a Youtuber who doesn't yet consider yourself a photographer (you are) then you're also welcome.

That said, this is a group primarily aimed at working photographers. So, you'll get the most out of it if you're a working professional photographer in Atlanta.
