Atlanta Phortographers Meetup
Atlanta Photographers
If you're a photographer in Atlanta, GA. and you're interested in meeting other photographers then, keep reading. Too, if you're interested in becoming an Atlanta photographer, in collaborating, talking about the industry, or just want to hang out then join us.
First, this group is open to all types of photographers in Atlanta. For example, I'm an event and headshot photographer in Atlanta. In addition I do, commercial marketing and advertising photography, and teach photography classes here in Atlanta. Again, no matter what type of photographer you are, if you're in or around Atlanta, you're welcome to join us.
Second, I'm fairly new to the city. So, I'm interested in meeting more local photographers in Atlanta to better understand the city, the industry, and more. For over 25 plus years I worked in Pittsburgh. During that time I made a big effort to get photographers together. As a result, I know that we're better in community.
In fact, trying to go it alone may break you. Therefore, if you're looking to grow, want to collaborate, or just want to know that you're not alone, then join me and a lot of other great local photographers in Atlanta.
After all, only when we're together, can we really support each other. Ultimately, we're all here to thrive. Plus, there is a lot of photography work in Atlanta and throughout the region. By working together we can shape the future of our industry.
Atlanta Photography Events
Why We Meetup
Where We Meetup
When We Meetup
My goal in hosting Atlanta photographer's meetups is to get photographers together at least once a month. As a result, I personally host a nature photography meetup monthly. In addition, I'm hosting monthly coffee meetups for photographers in Atlanta. That said, I welcome any photographer in Atlanta to get folks together. Too, I'm happy to help promote those meetups to everyone in my network. After all, we're all in this together.
Additionally, there are no dues, no restrictions or policing of who shows up (unless you're very rude), and there are no other requirements. In fact, if you've never shot anything for money and are just interested in photography, you are still welcome.
Also, videography pros are always welcome. I consider you all photographers too, in the sense that you use a camera to make a living. Still and motion photographers are all invited! Plus, if you're a Youtuber who doesn't really consider yourself a photographer but you use photography you're also welcome.
That said, this is a group primarily aimed at working photographers. Therefore, you'll get the most out of it if you're a working professional photographer in Atlanta.
