Hello my friend. Allow me to capture all of your goules, goblins, or whatever scary (or not) creature you're releasing this Halloween in a free Haunting Portrait.
To celebrate my new studio in Swissvale I'm creating Haunting Portraits of your costumed (or not) kids (or adults) who turn up on the doorstep of my laboratory, ah, I mean studio. It all takes place during trick-or-treat. The witching hour was pre-booked, sorry.
Of course, each victim, err, subject will receive a complimentary download of their portrait. So be sure to visit me on All Hallow's Eve (Oct. 31st) between 6 and 8pm at 7120 Harrison Ave. Pittsburgh, PA 15218.
What is a haunting portrait?
A Haunting Portrait is my gift to you. After all, you are my favorite goblins. Of course, there will also be candy. Being Halloween there might be some scary surprises too!
How Does It Work?
I'm setting up a black backdrop, lights, and creating an outdoor area for your costumed kiddos (and/or parents) and creating professional portraits of my experiments, err, subjects, guests, yeah, guests, in costume.
All Haunting Portraits will then be available free for download. Prints will also be available (just not for free, sadly).
This is my way of welcoming the neighborhood to my studio. However, I'm extending the offer to those looking for a professional photo of their Barbie, Superhero, witch, or whatever. All creatures are welcome!
Prize For Best Costume and Pose
In addition, folks will be able to vote for the best costume and/or pose online. Voting will be done via Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. The winners will each receive a free family photo session complete with digital photos from their session with me, (WDO Photography).
Do I have to?
Anyone wishing to opt out of the contest of course can. Save your souls and/or privacy. You can still get a photo. The option to opt out will be made available on Halloween. Too, you have the option to drop out any time if you decide you no longer wish to participate.
Contest Details
The contests begins Nov. 6th and ends on Thanksgiving. The winner will be notified soon after. In the spirit of Halloween, voting is completely unregulated. Therefore, cheating is highly encouraged.
Winners are: the photos with the most comments that say "costume" or "pose" plus the reacts to those comments. Everything will be added up and winners will then be notified as soon as possible. In other words, after I wake up from my turkey hangover.
