I've been given one very exciting opportunity to host a workshop at a rookery in Louisiana. It would take place late in the winter and I want you to come with me!
Louisiana Wading Bird Rookery
There is a rookery in Louisiana which invited me to visit during their nesting and fledging time. Of course, this happens in late Winter/early Spring. As you know this time of the year in Pittsburgh is when we're all looking to escape. Therefore, it's the perfect time for a nature photography adventure in Louisiana.
The area is beautiful and the opportunity is really spectacular. Rather than travel alone I'm looking for between 10 and 20 other photographers. So, if you're interested in a multiple day nature photography workshop I want to hear from you.
Nature Photography in Louisiana
This opportunity includes access to some of the most incredible nature photography in Louisiana. Additionally, I'll teach you everything from spotting birds to composing and exposing your photos. Too, you'll learn how to edit your nature photos.
About the Rookery
Until the workshop is more planned out I won't give too much away. That said, this rookery looks incredible. You'll photograph spoonbills, all types of herons and egrets, and so many more wading birds. They'll be in different stages of nesting and fledging their young. As a result you'll have the opportunity to capture truly amazing photos. For example, the photo at the top of the article is a Green Heron fledgling.
You really don't want to miss this opportunity.
