Free Photography Walks
Every month I lead free photography walks in Pittsburgh. Usually these are held in Frick Park and they focus on nature photography, macro, wildlife, or general photography skill building.
Family Friendly Adventures
The best wildlife nature photography adventure, like all of my free walks is family friendly. Photography is for everyone. It doesn't matter what skill level, age, mobility, or type of gear you have. Photography is for everyone!
Photographing Wildlife and Nature in January
You can photograph wildlife and nature in January. Really you can do so all year long. Because Pittsburgh is home to a lot of birds that live here year round or over winter here this is a perfect time to photograph them. The lack of foliage makes it easier to spot birds. Plus the sun is lower in the sky giving you more interesting light to work with. Finally, the lack of food makes birds more likely to hang around in places where they can feed and we can take full advantage of this!
