Saturday we’ll meet in the classroom, have a presentation and Q&A on the basics of winter landscape photography. We’ll discuss exposure, composition, and more.

Sunday February 25th

Sunday we’ll meet at one of Pittsburgh’s best winter landscape photography locations (location details will be provided to attendees in advance). Here, you’ll practice taking winter landscape photos with my guidance and assistance. We’ll take advantage of the late afternoon sun, golden hour, and the beginnings of blue hour to create truly stunning winter landscape photos.

After this workshop you’ll be well versed in how to find and capture wonderful winter landscape scenes. In addition, you’ll understand how to use your camera to control exposure. Plus, you’ll know how to use a variety of tools such as neutral density and polarizing filters.
