Join me on June 18th at the Pittsburgh Botanic Garden for my Backyard Bird Photography Workshop.
Have you ever wanted to capture the beauty of the birds in your own backyard? Then join me, professional photographer, Don Orkoskey, for an introduction to bird photography. This workshop will focus on how to create or find areas that attract bird. Plus, how to set up a blind or otherwise disguise oneself so that birds feel comfortable coming close. Additionally, we’ll discuss lens choices and exposure settings for bird photography. Finally, we’ll discuss what NOT to do (i.e. teach birds to eat out of your hand). If you’re a birder, are interested in birding, or enjoy bird photography you’ll want to sign up today!
Classroom discussion will be followed by photographing the many attractive birds found at Pittsburgh Botanic Garden. Please bring a camera with a telephoto lens (200mm or longer), a tripod or monopod, a small notebook or larger hardbound notebook and writing utensil.
Members $60 | Nonmembers $75
Program suitable for adults and children age 16 years or older.
