If you’re a working professional photographer in Pittsburgh, or aspire to be one please join us for the Jan. Pittsburgh Photographers Coffee Meetup. This casual networking event is fun and informative. Drink some coffee, talk shop, and discuss whatever else you’d like.
Past participants helped each other find clients, discussed business strategy, marketing, and more. As this is a new year, the Jan. edition of the Pittsburgh Photographers Coffee Meetup should be a really exciting meetup. In fact, I’m anticipating some discussion about tax season, what to do during the slow months, and lots of other great topics.
Better Together
I’m Pittsburgh photographer Don Orkoskey and I firmly believe that we’re better together. What does that mean? For me it means that we can learn from each other, support each other, and help move the local photography industry forward for the benefit of all photographers in Pittsburgh.
As such, I’m organizing these monthly coffee meetups for all Pittsburgh photographers. With them you get a chance to meet each other, find ways to collaborate, and get to know each other better.
If this sounds interesting please join us! That said, if you can’t make this one, please sign up for alerts and watch for the next one. Additionally, you can reach out to ask about dates or locations that work better for you. Plus, this isn’t something I’m taking ownership of. Therefore, if you want to organize one let me know. I’m happy to share the info here.
Pittsburgh Photography
In addition to this meetup I’m happy to announce the creation of Pittsburgh.photography a website for all Pittsburgh photographers. If you’ve not done so already please sign up for the directory. Additionally, please reach out if you want to be involved in helping grow the website (which is still pretty new and sparce).
About Your Organizer
My name is Don and I’ve been a photographer in Pittsburgh for more than 2 decades. In my time here I’ve photographed everything from sports and news to newborns and families. Today, I focus more on headshots, commercial advertising and marketing photography, corporate and nonprofit events, and teaching photography classes in Pittsburgh and online. When I’m not doing work as a photographer I’m usually in the woods taking nature and wildlife photos. In addition to that I love to network and meet all types of people including fellow photographers. In fact, I firmly believe that networking within our industry will help improve things for all of the photographers in Pittsburgh. That’s why I’m hosting these meetups. That said, if you’d like to host a meetup, class, or so forth please let me know. I’m happy to promote those types of events here and elsewhere.
So, I really look forward to seeing you at the Jan. Pittsburgh Photographers Coffee Meetup!
