Camera Clubs Near Pittsburgh
Greater Johnstown Camera Club
Starting quite far from Pittsburgh is the Greater Johnstown Camera Club. As with many photography clubs they don't have a website. However, they do have a Facebook page. This is the farthest away photography club from Pittsburgh on the list. In fact, I only included them because Johnstown is such an incredible place to visit. I highly recommend going. It's a truly wonderful little town to photograph.
Lensshooters Photography Club - Peters Township
If you're south of Pittsburgh the Lensshooters Photography Club in Peters Township is a great group to join. There are a lot of talented photographers in the group. Additionally, like many local camera clubs they bring in great guest speakers.
New Castle Camera Club
A bit farther from Pittsburgh again is the New Castle Camera Club. I really love their motto: We're not members because we're good photographers. We're members to become better photographers. If you're close to New Castle then be sure to look at this great camera club!
New Kensington Camera Club
The New Kensington Camera Club is for photographers in or close to the A-K River Valleys. They don't have a website. However, they're a very active group with a large Facebook and Flickr presence. Additionally, they have (or had) a storefront in the Pittsburgh Mills Mall. If you're looking for a fun and active group northeast of Pittsburgh check them out.
