As a small business owner I'm always looking for ways to improve my reach. This is why GoodFirms is the newest part of my marketing strategy. In addition, they're a great place for me to find other businesses for me to do business with.
To be honest, I hadn't heard of them until a scammer reached out promising to add paid reviews to them and a bunch of other sites. Obviously I didn't fall for it. However, in checking out GoodFirms I found a few things that really set them apart from similar websites.
What Sets GoodFirms Apart
GoodFirms really stands apart from similar platforms. Here are the top 6 reasons why I think they're different.
- A fair but comprehensive evaluation
- Genuine user reviews (not paid reviews from scammers)
- Their tailored focus
- A top-quality knowledgebase and resources
- They've built a global platform
- Incredible staff interested in your success
A fair but comprehensive evaluation
It's true that finding GoodFirms the way I did was a bit odd. However, I checked them out quite thoroughly before deciding to create an account. GoodFirms does a great job evaluating companies before listing them.
As a result, I was impressed by the way they ensure any business they list is highly qualified, reliable, and able to perform the work they're asking to be listed for.
In fact, this level of evaluation was similar to what you face applying for membership in a trade organization. Therefore, I was rather surprised. This is especially true given how many similar platforms will list businesses without question. Ultimately I'm really happy that they're doing so.
Additionally, their evaluating each business continuously. This results in dynamic ranking that I really appriciate. Compared to other platforms where you're only increasing in rank if you're paying the platform GoodFirms really seems to want to provide accurate information about the businesses they list.
Genuine user reviews (not paid reviews from scammers)
It's wild to me that scammers told me they'd get me reviews on platforms like GoodFirms. I can tell you with certainty that they wouldn't be able to add fake reviews there.
In fact, while it is possible to review any company you need to list projects that they worked on for you and a lot of other information that would make the process incredibly time-consuming. Plus, even after all of that the review still may not be approved. Look, this isn't Google Reviews.
Their tailored focus
GoodFirms has a tight focus on specific industries. Plus, they're clearly knowledgeable about those industries. As such, they know what they're doing, who they're listing, and what those businesses are doing. Ultimately, this means you can trust the information they provide to be accurate and meaningful.
Additionally, the way they've structured the website allows you to filter feedback on the specific types of services you're after. What a game-changer! In other words, you can not only find a web designer. Instead, you can see reviews for designers that meet your specific design criteria. Plus, you can see reviews that discuss the exact types of projects that yours aligns with.
Top-quality knowledgebase and resources
The information that GoodFirms provides on the businesses they list plus the industries they focus on is vast and deep. As a result, the reports and guides they offer along with blog posts make GoodFirms an unbelievable resource. In addition they offer case studies, webinars, and loads of community engagement. All in all I've never seen a better built and more resource intensive platform than GoodFirms.
They've built a global platform
As someone with a ton of international contacts I love that GoodFirms is really a global platform. First, this means you can sort your searches by region. Second, it means that if you are targeting overseas markets you can find native speakers to work with. Finally, the flexibility this offers for hiring great designers, photographers, and IT professionals is ideal for any company with tight budgets.
Incredible staff interested in your success
This is huge for me. Their staff is interested in your success. The most important criteria before sharing information like this is trusting them enough to recommend them.
If I didn't trust them as much as I do I wouldn't be writing about them.
I've got a lot of other stuff going on. However, here I am writing over 1500 words about them. Of course, I'm not doing it for them. I'm doing it for you. I believe that GoodFirms can be a great resource for you. This is true if you're looking for firms to work with or if you're looking for clients. So, please check them out. Take a hard look around and read reviews about them. Then, give them a try. I promise that you'll be pleasantly surprised. Check out GoodFirms right here.
