Full Moon and Moonlight Photography at Mellon Park
Learn how to take photos of the moon and of the moonlight landscape. Use a camera phone or a digital camera. Don will discuss the use of tripods and other tools that can help one achieve beautiful photos in low light.
Hybrid Class Notice
Please pay attention to the structure of the class. We’ll have an hour long Zoom class on Tuesday followed by a two hour long in-person class on Saturday.
Online Portion
The online class session will cover these tool and techniques for achieving captivating images of the moon. You can attend one session if you can’t make them both but the class is designed for you to take both. In this online portion we’ll go over critical information that I won’t be able to reiterate in-person due to time.
In-person Portion
The in person session will give you the opportunity to try your hand at moonlight photography with supported help. This portion will be hands-on. Too, I will be providing help and tips. However, as mentioned above, this doesn’t make up for the Zoom portion. Therefore, if you miss the Zoom portion, you’re still welcome. However, there won’t be time to go over everything we did online.
