Now through Oct you can discover the best nature photography in Pittsburgh on display at the Pittsburgh Botanic Garden. I'm so excited to announce the opening of POV: Approaches to Nature Photography a group show of nature photographers including myself and 4 others.
This show juxtaposes the different approaches that each of the 5 of us take to photographing nature. My work, including the image above, focuses on the systems that surround us and how we are intertwined with natural systems, how we use and create interactive systems with the natural world, and how those relationships shift and change over time.
Here is the write up from the Pittsburgh Botanic Garden about the show and the 5 nature photographers who are exhibiting our work.
The next exhibition on display in the Garden's Welcome Center, entitled POV: Approaches to Nature Photography, brings together five photographers and showcases their unique and varied approaches to nature photography. The exhibition opens July 7 in the Welcome Center. Read about the photographers in the show below:

Meet The Photographers
The Pittsburgh Botanic Garden is planning a reception for the public to meet the photographers. Don't miss this chance to discover the best nature photography in Pittsburgh!
Tentatively this is scheduled for Aug. 18th but I will be out of town. I'm working to arrange another possible time when I could come and do an artist talk/meet and greet. When I have more information on that I will share it widely here.
