Better Together
I’m Pittsburgh photographer Don Orkoskey and I firmly believe that we’re better together. What does that mean? For me it means that we can learn from each other, support each other, and help move the local photography industry forward for the benefit of all photographers in Pittsburgh. As such, I’m organizing these monthly coffee meetups for all Pittsburgh photographers. With them you get a chance to meet each other, find ways to collaborate, and get to know each other better. If this sounds interesting please join us! That said, if you can’t make this one, please sign up for alerts and watch for the next one. Additionally, you can reach out to ask about dates or locations that work better for you. Plus, this isn’t something I’m taking ownership of. Therefore, if you want to organize one let me know. I’m happy to share the info here.

In addition to this meetup I’m happy to announce the creation of Pittsburgh.photography a website for all Pittsburgh photographers. If you’ve not done so already please sign up for the directory. Additionally, please reach out if you want to be involved in helping grow the website (which is still pretty new and sparce). Of course, you don’t have to join us at the coffee meetup to be a part of Pittsburgh photography.

I'm full time professional event and headshot photographer Don Orkoskey. Since 2007 I've owned WDO Photography. Additionally, I teach photography in partnership with a number of amazing organizations as well as offering my own group photography classes and individual photography lessons. I teach classes for both adults and children and lead free nature photography meetups each month. I also write a monthly newsletter full of great information and maintain a list of free photography resources and have a YouTube channel to help you learn photography.
