Phone Photography Classes
All virtual and local phone photography classes are lead by me, professional photographer Don Orkoskey, the owner of WDO Photography. With more than 15 years experience I promise that you will feel more confident, more creative, and have more fun with phone photography after taking one of my classes.
Classes for Kids and Teens
I have my PA clearances to work with children and has taught children at a variety of settings including through the Children's Museum of Pittsburgh, the Andy Warhol Museum, the Homeless Children's Education Fund, The Westmoreland Museum of American Art, and more. Teen and kids classes are engaging, interactive, and fun. We learn a lot by harnessing the innate creativity inside of all of us. We practice problem solving, and focus on creating the photos we envision through focusing on the solution. My process is grounded in the most up-to-date educational methodologies to maximize learning in ways that are positive and joyous.
Classes For Adults
My phone photography classes for adults help people of all ages to improve their phone photography skills and creativity while reducing frustration, increasing confidence, and adding joy to the experience of creating and capturing photos with our phones. My practical instruction will help you master your phone's camera, know how to solve problems, explain concepts key to understanding photography, and will help you unlock your creative potential. That last bit is so important to taking our photos from technically correct to amazing pictures that we want to show off and everyone wants to look at.
The pandemic made virtual phone photography classes and online learning in general much more accessible and popular. In 2020 I adapted my in-person phone photography class to the virtual environment specifically to ensure that all students got a rewarding and full experience. In my virtual phone photography classes you will learn to master your phone's camera without frustration and how to solve problems when photos don't turn out the way you want. You'll learn the technical and creative aspects that make photography so fascinating in a practical, easy-to-follow, frustration-busting way.
