It's that time of year again when the weather warms, the trees begin to bud, and the wedding bells start to ring in Pittsburgh and throughout Southwestern PA.

WDO Photography is committed to covering your wedding in or around the Pittsburgh area. We will do travel or "destination" weddings as well but our understanding of the customs and traditions in and around Pittsburgh allow us to provide a unique service and photos that matter to you. We understand the traditions because we are local and we've been creating beautiful photographs for weddings, family portraits, seniors, and so much more for more than 10 years.

We only book a small number of weddings a year and we expect to be fully booked within the next few weeks. The Cookie Table

If you've attended a wedding outside of the Pittsburgh area then you'll notice that something is missing - the cookie table. If on the other hand you're from outside of Pittsburgh, don't be surprised to find a beautifully laid out selection of cookies at the reception. This is a Pittsburgh tradition, the origins of which are lost to time, that always seems to get the attention of the out-of-town guests.

When you hire WDO Photography we won't help make cookies for the cookie table but we will keep our eyes open for funny moments that always seem to happen around the cookie table. From kids making off with one to many cookie to the look of wonderment on the out-of-towner's face we've got the cookie table covered.

A big part of photographing a Pittsburgh wedding is the places that we do your photos. A lot of couples want to show their love of our beautiful city by posing in and around some of it's most spectacular places. As time allows we can visit places from Mt. Washington to the Cathedral of Learning to help make your wedding pictures uniquely Pittsburgh.
